I have what for me is a fresh approach to my query letter. My previous efforts were following rules written by literary agents I intended to query. I think my approach was a bit too staid and told more of the story than I wanted to. This time I've written what I hope will entire the reader into wanting to read more.
The truth, as usual, is in the proverbial pudding. And I will have to reserve judgment until I've seen the results. I am taking the advice of a recently signed author and am reading through the beginning of my novel, and boy, am I glad I am. I discovered 2 last names for the same character. I'll read further.
